The book started out very good but about midway it went heavily, almost exclusively, into circuit components. I did like the section on meteor scatter close to the end but it was not enough to give this one a good recommendation. Unfortunate because I'm interested in this subject.

This book is very clearly aimed at radio amateurs with an interest in radio astronomy. This book is not about astronomy, but about hearing radio waves from space.

May 30, 2018I am not sure it's exactly a book that you sit down & read cover to cover. But it is a really interesting read. I have no real interest in Astronomy, but radio fascinates me & this book held my attention well, even if some parts did mean little to me.
Certainly worth having on the bookshelf if radio or astronomy interests you.
