Danny Wuerffel was the man in 1996. Heisman Trophy, all them gridiron and Academic awards, AND a National Championship. But in essence, all Wuerffel cared about was winning, preparing for games, his teammates, and of course his Christian faith.

Talk about caring about your teammates. Wuerffel after he won the Heisman, printed up some hats that read "Heisman" on them and he gave them to his teammates. Who does that? A selfless teammate that's who.

Danny is a true Christian man. A man who follows the rules of his faith, doesn't push his beliefs and the word of God on people, and one who knows he has faults and is far from perfect.

Look, this book wasn't a super revelatory book or a book that let you in on so many secret things that went down inside the Florida program. It was basically what the title said, tales from Wuerffel's years as a Florida Gator.

In conclusion, this book gave you more reasons to see that Wuerffel is a stand up guy and that he really appreciated the blessings that God gave him on and off the field.
