If you are just starting to learn about astrology, I wouldn't recommend this book... that is unless you like being overwhelmed with and confused by an onslaught of information... if that's the case go right on ahead.

This doesn't mean it is a poor book. It is a good book, wonderful to keep around for reference, just not so much a beginner's book. I'd recommend starting with Steven Forrest's The Inner Sky and then move on to other texts before reading this one.
