Greiman is a talented designer and the imagery is stunning and evocative. I was disappointed because I thought that Greiman herself would be narrating the book, or it would be more academic in nature. I think the tone of the book is almost written as if she's deceased - it's creepy. Visuals are helpful, and some passages, although difficult to read (intentionally, but come on!), were interesting. I especially liked the part about the ongoing unspoken war between true Art and applied Design.
