Homeschool Roadmap: k-4th

As we began our homeschooling journey, we often wished there was a All-in-One Book. A how to guide that would keep us on track. One that had a checklist for all the things we needed to do and remember, etc... There is so much information available. We wanted one book that brought the best methods all together. One that took the best ideas from here and there and brought them together in an easy to follow format. A book that kept things simple and to the point. One that focused on the objectives and didn't bog us down with meaningless details. We wanted examples to follow; examples that we could use or modify if we wanted. We wanted someone who had been there to take us by the hand and lead us on. The obstacles seemed huge. On top of all our questions, some of our relatives thought we were nuts! They would politely interrogate us on our qualifications and experience. Then they would say that our children would not be properly socialized. They won't be able to go to a good college. They won't be able to get a good job. We felt the pressure knowing that we had * Learn about homeschooling, part time while working full time. * Continue to raise two small children. * Defend ourselves and our choices. * Save face with our relatives and friends. * Begin buying curriculum while staying in budget. * ...and the Bottom Line - We must succeed. Our Children's lives are in our hands. This is our book that was born from our 11+ years of homeschooling our now five children. We reference our own book routinely. It saves us a tremendous amount of time and stress. It's our desire that it can help you too. Let it be your guide; your roadmap. We've made the journey and can show you the way, but the journey will be uniquely your own. You can easily add your own notes and ideas so it will become your book.
