I enjoyed the large series of books. Each woman's story was basically contained in 9 chapters, which made finishing this series a time consumer. Although I enjoyed each story, I feel that they could have been extended a bit, giving a little more insight into each story. It was interesting reading about mail-order brides, however. I was happy to see each story end satisfactorily. There were a few editing errors, but overall, a very nice series!
Overall I liked the books, though I found some of the characters a little too oblivious and simpering and not just the females. They all pretty much had happy endings, so that was gratifying to me. I would recommend these books to anyone who likes romance books that are a quick read.
Wonderful story filled with plenty of excitement, surprises, suspense and lots of love. I would recommend this to everyone who enjoys reading enjoys reading a great love story.
Really enjoyed each story. I felt like I was at Lost Creek shopping at the General store. I would recommend this read of several story and enjoy a cup of coffee and warm blanket.
That was a lot of stories. A few were repeats, but I did enjoy reading them again or scanning them. But over all this is a very nice selection of stories. I recommend reading them! Good author! 👍📖📖👍
Apparently this author skipped the day in school when the "do not use a preposition at the end of a sentence" was taught. Some of the stories were so "wordy", I would skip ahead several pages to get to the rest of the story. Not sure I would want to read her again.
Delightful romp through a period read of the early American West and our introduction to how maybe some of our ancestors might have met…hopefully fallen in love and started our family trees. These stories were lovely to read!
I loved these amazing characters and stories. My only wish is they would have been longer as I didn’t want to leave the stories as quick as they ended.
Each story began with deep emotions of sadness or fear or loneliness . But as all good stories go the eventual overcoming of obstacles and heart ache wins out. The journey to love in each story was filled with true feelings brought out to triumph over the beginnings of why and how the journey began. Truly loved each one!
