Comprehensive, straightforward introduction to every Eastern church. I found the information engaging enough to be able to read the book all the way through, but its logical organization - with specific sections and subsections for each church - makes it ideal to use as a habitual reference manual as well (and habitual it must be if one is ever to get a handle on the hilariously complex historical and political history behind every single one of these churches).
