Five little, four little, three little . . . two little adorable books that will get kids counting their way down through two charming Christmas adventures. With a unique trim size and a plastic-molded counting piece on each spread that disappears as kids count down to an exciting pop-up at the end, each of these fun little books is bound to be a hit. Choking Hazard. Small parts. Not for children under 3 years.
William Boniface may or may not exist. Ordinary Boy, after all, tells his own story. Mr. Boniface could simply be a creation of the publisher in order to fulfill the requirement that an author be listed on the cover of this book. Given that possibility, there is no harm in revealing that Mr. Boniface has lent his name to over two dozen far less wordy children's books that were also in need of an author. Unless, of course, he didn't, which would make this entire biography irrelevent.
This book is a great book for the Pre-K/ K age. When looking at this book, it reminds me of the Ten Lady Bugs book. In this book, there are 5 solid christmas tress that you can touch and each page has a different story of how the Christmas was bought or where it was going and who it was going to. The children of this age would be able to count the trees and actually touch them which is great! I put this on my book shelf because I think this will be beneficial to help children start counting!
-Christmas, -to be used with younger children Pre-K-1,2?? -discuss differences in the trees, differences in people -counting 1-5, backwards -plan a Christmas party like the one in the book -decorate Christmas trees -make finger puppets and perform -have students dress up as Christmas trees and act out the story
