For a casual reader this book might have more detail than they are looking for. But it’s an invaluable resource for the history of dance in America. The author conducted hundreds of hours of interviews with the Christensen brothers as well as their wives Gisella Caccialanza and Ruby Asquith, who were important dancers in their own right.
