Enumera y analiza cada uno de los motivos y submotivos presentes en las narraciones; terminando con un corto pero interesante análisis de la presencia explícita o implícita de la tradición de Sodoma y Gomorra en el Antiguo Testamento.

very perceptive analysis of Sodom & Gomorrah motif. very structured, if a bit drab. helps put the story in comparison to Judges 19-20 and the story of Rahab in Joshua, with some reference to Abraham welcoming the 3 angels in Gen 18. fills out the multiple points in the story beyond just sexuality. main emphasis is on how we treat the "stranger at the gates" and issues of hospitality.
