I debated if I liked the book or not. I am not crazy of the writing style. I think it made me realize that I am actually finding the flow for a lot of aspects in my life. After pondering on it, I identified one area in my life where I struggle: skiing. It is not ski season yet, but I will maybe use the book as a resource then. Definitely the kind of book to revisit as needed.

I read this book as part of the www.12booksin2012.com book group. It was fantastic to have the author walking me through the material and I feel like that made a significant difference in my education of the material.

This book is for everyone. I would summarize by saying that the material is designed to help you identify the most crucial things that are holding you back from peak performance in any given area of your life, and then create an execution plan to increase that performance.

First the book teaches you about flow. What is peak performance and what is the science of "getting into the zone." The author then teaches a repeatable process that can be used time and time again to increase performance.

For me this book is life changing and it does create a foundation of knowledge and actionable steps to help increase my own performance in each of my meaningful life arenas.

I am behind in my 12 in 12 reading group, but, and working to catch up. I liked this book and the idea of reaching your optimum performance output, and maximizing the areas that affect the ability to reach "flow".
