A fantastic new Ms Wiz story paired with a classic
Ms Wiz Rocks!: Podge is learning an instrument but he’s terrible. Then he meets a street singer playing the ukulele. It’s Ms Wiz of course! And in joining her band, he finds himself in a TV talent competition! Rock on Ms Wiz!
You’re Nicked, Ms Wiz: Lizzie’s cat is missing, stolen by fur-nappers, and Ms Wiz turns herself into a cat to get it back.
Terence Blacker wanted to be a jockey when he grew and up. In fact, he could ride before he could walk, and his childhood hero was the great steeplechaser Mill House (a horse). He lives in Norfolk, England.
The blurb for this does give a hint as to why the stories seem to be in the wrong order.
This is definitely a book for new readers. Yet, the references are aimed at people who may be too old to have new readers of their own. Which I found amusing. There is a nice element of parody in both these stories. I am enjoying this series for little details but not necessarily thinking the stories are great.
