Daddy's Diva

Rate this book
Every Diva has a daddy, but are they as overprotective of them as Diamond’s father Stewart Wright is? He’s not letting anyone get close to his daughter, with the exception of his best friend, Bentley, who Stewart trusts with his life. When Diamond’s relationship with her current boyfriend starts to falter, she blames her father and decides to make a move that shakes up his whole world! Dating a man twice her age, Diamond’s life starts to rattle too. Family secrets are revealed, and Daddy’s Diva finds herself in a sticky situation that leaves her wondering what the hell she’s gotten herself into. There seems to be no way out this gigantic mess, and when Daddy doesn’t have her back, somebody…anybody must come to the rescue before it’s too late!

Joyce Hampton. Is she related to Brenda? I don't know but this book was very entertaining. I will definitely be looking for more from this author.

I LOVE Brenda Hampton's work and will buy anything that she writes on endorses. This book was good for a first time author. I was interested enough to want to pick it back up each time that I had to put it down. I found that it kept a steady pace throughout. There was just one "what da hell" moment and the rest of the book was just a easy steady flow. I was expecting a little more based on the reviews that I read and the ending was just so so. I found that I was expecting a bit more drama based on the subject matter. All in all it was a good read but it lacked a little UMPH.

This was an alright read. I know there are girls out there that do things in lofe to make there dad's mad, but miss thing took it too far. Her father was a piece of work that wanted to control her and every aspect of her life. And she just went ham and made all the wrong dishions. But in the end after finding out some things everything worked out better than expected. So read this you wont be sorry.

This was a nice little book. A bit slow at first but it picked up a bit towards the end. I had to put it down and read another book then come back to it. There are plenty of twists and turns to keep you saying 'wait what??'. I gave this book 3 stars and I recommend it to anyone who wants a lighthearted easy read.

Really good and a quick read. I finished it in a day. I just wish there was more about the mother as I had no connection to here when she popped up at the end of the story. I kinda believe there is more to the story that she told her daughter.
