I live in Georgia with my two extremely cool sons. They are not as addicted to reading but they are not too far behind. They both are writers as well. They rubbed off on me.
In all seriousness, it started off as a simple email to one of my favorite authors. I was instantly hooked on this vampire series and emailed the author, kindly demanding to know when the next book would be coming out. She emailed me back and told me I would have to hold on until next year. So the next email I sent, I teased that I guess I'd better start drawing my own conclusions and writing my own version to keep me busy until then. She told me that would be an interesting idea.
The next morning it was as if a flood gate was opened. Story ideas bombarded me until I started writing them down. It's been a non-stop fun journey every since.
Thanks to love I receive from my two very, very patient sons, my awesome brother and my wonderful mother I have been able to write to my heart's content. I love them and I love what I do!
I hope you will pick up one of my books and join me on an erotic fun-filled adventure.

Description: When Summer Showers moves to Whispering Mountain for a new job, she takes an offer to stay with her cousins-in-law Dillon, Denver, and Dalton Durden until the remodels on her house are done. Cue the menage quarto!
The Good: Summer is an enthusiastic partner, and the sex scenes are scorching hot with tons of variations. Also, I really loved Summer’s job. She’s a landscape engineer — how cool!
The Bad: This book is basically a bunch of good ideas with no craft whatsoever. I can see the author’s raw talent trying to claw its way up here, but it’s buried under poor writing (telling not showing, stilted language, weak character motivation, head hopping) and underdeveloped characters. Ms. Alexander has an innate sense of structure, but does not have her storytelling basics down. It made for a very frustrating read.
The Naughty: Erotic, foursomes, public groping, anal, trains.
Editing issues: Minor typos

This author is promising, with sexy and fun books. The only drawback I have with this novel is I didn't feel there was an emotional connection between the Summer and all the brothers. She seems most focused on connecting with one (Dalton) while she loves to shag another (Denver) and appears more or less even-keeled with the remaining brother (Dillon). Hmmm. It's a mostly entertaining read but it's not one where emotional investment between the characters is something I ever see being really established.
I do really appreciate that Ms. Alexander is writing interracial/multicultural menage books. There are far too few of those, so the author gets some considerable leeway from me for that aspect alone.

Loving this series!
From the start of this series I was hooked! I love this family and I love these sister's their a perfect match for this unconventional family. This hot spicy courtship kept me in it from start to finish. This family has their own brand of rules for loving and these sister's fit right in. Very well written, easy to follow I really like how the story picks up from the previous an all the characters are there with new one's added in. The Showers sister's never stood a chance with this family! A very good read on to the next one!

I was hoping for a little bit more from this story. The plot was good, but there were a few things that could have been done better.
There needed to be more background leading up to the emotions for me to really believe that there was more than just physical attraction for them all. It all seemed too rushed. I also thought that the stalker storyline wrapped up too easily. And the men in the story were too willing to believe that she had left them without a word.
There were also moments where the writing felt really disjointed. I needed to re-read things a few times to understand what they meant in the story.
Overall, it was decent, but it could have been better.

I loved all of the men. I loved their differences. I loved their hugeness. I loved that when they realized they were "in love" with their ideal woman, they went for her till the end. Some negatives, they were pretty stupid. They should have realized everything sooner. They should have known better. I loved the character of this woman. She is strong without being mannish. She is idependent. She is creative. She is everything that a woman should be. The crazy freind should have more of a backstory. Why did she latch on to her? What set her apart?

This is my second menage book. I don't know what to think about this genre. I haven't decided if I will read another one of these yet. The brothers seem like good guys and they apparently love the female lead. I was not disappointed with the book.
