I like that each page basically has illustrations and it's not bad per session, but the puzzles are a little hard for me, the story telling isn't actually that engaging, and some of the pictures and puzzles can look and get a bit messy. I like puzzles integrated into a story but I guess I prefer a lighter dose with easier puzzles or a more engaging story. These three stories feature characters dropped straight into a situation. I don't usually mind that but the scenarios are more far-fetched and not quite as fun or clever as I liked, even if I like puns like Hudlum city. Stuff like the girl coming by the city to get a CD and getting dragged into the kidnapping wasn't done or told as well as I liked, and puzzles like the word scramble or codes like the picture to letters were just a bit more tedious to sit and solve and ultimately wasn't a "fun" way to pass the time. Tried about 4 or 5 ish puzzles and read bits and skimmed the stories like boy finding the superhero comics and being sucked in or the street gangs, etc, before deciding it wasn't for me and dropping.
