A PSYCHIC ASSURES US THAT ‘LIFE DOES GO ON AFTER WE DIE’

Psychic Linda Georgian (of ‘Psychic Friends Network’ fame) wrote in the Introduction to this 1995 book, “We all experience loss and grief. Even if someone lives to be 120, it’s never the right time to lose a loved one. My aim in writing this book is to provide comfort, hope, and the TRUTH: that life DOES go on after we die. A different dimension of life, to be sure, but we do go on. I wrote this book as a guide through some of the basic concepts and techniques for those who want to become more receptive to interdimensional communication, to the possibilities of every level of consciousness and the doors that open f every level of consciousness and the doors that open from these levels. You’ll learn how natural this process is from those who have shared their experiences here among these pages.” (Pg. 13)

She states, “cultures around the globe… all agree on one thing: after we die we all go SOMEPLACE. We in the Western world are tempted to be vague about it all. Some people believe that we go either to heaven or to hell… while others declare that the only place we go after death is into the ground… There is, however, a rich tradition… that is not based upon fear of death or the reward or punishment of our deeds in the afterlife. This tradition holds that LIFE IS LIFE; we simply live it in different dimensions at different stages of our spiritual development.” (Pg. 30)

She summarizes, “We have always known that the physical world is not all there s to existence. In all our attempts to understand the world that lies beyond our senses, we have created philosophies, religions, myths, legends, artistic expression, and scientific study … We have often focused our attention anywhere and everywhere but where we SHOULD be looking, within ourselves. Our answers come from our experiences, our flashes of insight, our intuitive universal guidance, our natural connectedness with everything and everyone that defies all barriers, even the perceived barrier of physical death.” (Pg. 48-49)

She says, “When we dream, our minds travel while our physical bodies remain behind… The Out of Body Experience (OBE) operates in a similar manner, yet it is distinctly different. In a dream we do not Have the same conscious awareness that we have when we’re fully awake. In an OBE we do. Research into the OBE has shown us that consciousness can separate from physical reality. During the OBE state, the mind is awake while the body is asleep… This state is equivalent of the delta state, a state of brain activity that occurs when the body is in a deep sleep. During OBE, the mind is completely awake and in full control.” (Pg. 52)

She states, “After physical death, the spirit evolves toward spiritual perfection in a world of inconceivable beauty and pleasure. Most of us are greeted by friends and loved ones, familiar spirits, guardian spirits, or master souls. We can see and hear, feel, smell, and taste. Our five sentences are heightened and expanded to include the ability to communicate telepathically and to sense things that on the three-dimensional earth plane we could experience only in ways that were limited by our inhabiting a physical body.” (Pg. 64)

She suggests, “As spiritual beings temporarily housed in human bodies, we are capable of interdimensional travel. In fact, ANYTHING of spirit, of consciousness of any kind, can separate out and travel as mind-spirit. It happens in OBEs, NDEs, dreams, visions, and meditative states. This ability explains the phenomena of clairvoyance, telepathy, and thought transference.” (Pg. 72)

She asserts, “There are no evil spirits. On the earthly plane as well as in the higher-dimensional realms, we can attract negative energy only if we are open to it and live in fear. The spiritual power of love and light protects us. Spirit cannot control anyone on eh earthly plane in the form of possession, revenge, or anger. Only we can bring these negatives upon ourselves.” (Pg. 81)

She acknowledges, “You may think that because I live my life with great spiritual awareness I am always successful at making contact with my friends and loved ones who are living in the afterlife. But, like everyone else, I, too, need to be reminded of its simplicity sometimes, of the fact that we can often place undue pressure on ourselves.” (Pg. 97)

She observes, “Afterlife communication has helpful, practical aspects, and those who use their spiritual abilities not only personally but professionally to teach, guide, and counsel others are often called upon to relay communication for very practical reasons. Along the way, they also end up providing spiritual lessons as well.” (Pg. 111)

She says, “Interdimensional relationships aren’t limited to just the human spirit. Animal spirits often continue their relationships with us from the higher-dimensional realm. In a classic example of afterlife communication from a beloved pet, we learn that even man’s---or woman’s---‘best friend’ wants us to know that life continues after the body’s physical death.” (Pg. 125)

She summarizes, “Western culture tends to make death a very serious, comber, sad turn of events… We associate death with the negative from a physical standpoint because the illnesses, accidents, and injuries that lead to the loss of physical life are so often accompanied by great pain and suffering. Our fear of death also comes from assuming, incorrectly, that it is the end of our minds, spirits, souls, personalities, beings---whatever you want to call our human essence---simply because it is the end of our physical bodies. We can’t and don’t want to conceive of our not existing… We have a hard time believing this because Western culture and society has a hard time picturing a mind/spirit/soul that can exist apart from its physical body. Once we get beyond that artificial hurdle, accepting that life goes on after death is natural and easy.” (Pg. 149-150)

This book may appeal to some who are interested in psychics.
