I'm on record as disliking books short enough to be "pamphlets," and this is no exception. There's no "story" to this: the characters are writing in various places. This uses trailing sentences,* though, which seems like it might be confusing to the target audience (VERY young reader).
The main reason I don't like it (and that's an active "don't like" vs. Goodreads' "it was ok" but not "one star is don't like" when I prefer to reserve that for actively harmful content) is the cover image, which—with a single line—gives the impression that the character on the cover is unhappy about having to write. Every other character in the book is happy! (or, at least, not "resting angry face" about it)
Rated accordingly for "minimal effort teaching material" content, strongly doubt ANY reader actively finds this to be an enriching book for the ages.
