Kermit's friends are very sweet when they find out he has a little farm and pick out presents that they think he will need for that farm. The twist at the end is that Kermit does not have a traditional farm but an ant farm. I felt a little sad that his friends were so caring and went out of their way when they misunderstood the kind of farm Kermit had. I also felt as if the story ended abruptly. I personally believe the story would have been better if Kermit had a dialog with his friends about the misunderstanding after he broke the news to them about the ant farm.
