Dr. Dean John Champion received his Ph.D. from Purdue University. At the moment of his decease he was as a Professor of Criminal Justice at Texas A&M International University. In the past he had taught at the University of Tennesse, the California State University, and the Minot State University.
He used both his full name and 'Dean J. Champion' when writing.
