The exhibition features 96 pop-up and movable books and is arranged by paper engineer including: Nick Bantock, Roger Culbertson, Jim Deesing, James Roger Diaz, David Hawcock, Mick Inkpen, Vojtech Kubasta, Tor Lokvig, Jan Pienkowski, Lothar Meggendorfer, Kees Moerbeek Ernest Nister, Ib Penick, Robert Sabuda, John Strejan, Ron Van der Meer, and Paul Wilgress. The earliest title on display, Les animaux domestique, was published in France around 1901. It contains 4 fascicles of common barnyard animals with colored plates that lift and reveal the animals' inner structure. The most recent title, Brooklyn Pops Up, was published in the U.S. in the year 2000 to celebrate an exhibition of pop-up and movable books co-sponsored by the Brooklyn Public Library and the Movable Book Society.
