An absorbing true story that reads like Fiction. Bold and ambitious characters mix with corporate debt fuelled acquisition, a dream of oil in the arctic, cozy and clueless bankers and a misguided nationalistic economic Government policy leads to standing on the edge of the worlds biggest corporate bankruptcy. No this is not 2020 but 1982 and the riveting story of Dome Petroleum. A quick and enjoyable read that reminds us that we are often guided by our immediate circumstances and dreams rather than a rational perspective.
