Another book from my university days. This text is so dry, it is of course an academic style book dealing with Mental Health issues. It was a required text for one of my courses when i was working towards a degree in Social Work. It's academic, it's dry but its filled with sources for further research on your own - which is a blessing when one needs to write 30 to 50 page papers for class. Others may find this book interesting, I found it lifeless and boring. It was not engaging at all. Cold and impersonal as many academic style books are. It just lacks empathy...which is something much needed in the clinical social work field.
