The book overviews the life of Tiffany starting from his design days and most of the art. This is one of many books on Tiffany, but one of only a few that covers all of the sides of Tiffany's work and is written as a consistent monograph rather than a set of essays. I found the book to be much less deep than I would expect from a monograph, but with that, it could offer a holistic first introduction to Tiffany to those who are not familiar with his work. The book is printed on thick nice glossy paper, so while it has about 150 pages, it is reasonably thick. The paper is apparently age-resistant, so the pages on my copy that I got in the library were still like new although the book is almost 30 years old. Unfortunately, like many older art books, it has too few color pictures (many BW though).
