Going into this book, I didn’t think I would find anything that I liked about it. I found this book at my university when someone decided to give away their books for free. At times, I had to re-read the phrases and the concepts discussed in this book. I did take a away a main theme of how important it is to control our thoughts. That we are the authors of our own lives. The book had many insightful pieces about childhood, faith, patterns, the world, etc. I am glad I took the time to read this book but again it took me a while to grasp what it was trying to tell me. I really did not expect to like the book as much as I did nor did I expect it to be like a story. I thought it would be an informational book but I really enjoyed the way the author chose to reveal the concepts of the rules of the game.

This is an excellent review of life's rules. The story contained helps highlight the rules. I didn't learn anything new but I do now remember many truths of life. Certainly worth the read and the review.
