Bred From Treason

Rate this book
It's Jay's turn to run the streets and East New York has been chosen for him. Jay's mentor Doogie (Doogs) raised him into the game. Prepared him to take it to the roof and perfected him for ruthlessness to stay on top. A father figure who’s own marriage to the streets birthed the near flawless menace to the game. What motivated him? What intention? Bred From Treason takes urban fiction to a more serious and personal level. With a Brooklyn point of view and a raw East New York flavor, the only thing you'll need to know is....Why?

Many characters to keep up with. The ending tied up the entire story. Probably a sequel in years to come.

This book is all over the place. While reading it's hard to decipher which character is speaking. The creativity of the storyline is great. It's just that the book is poorly put together which makes it a difficult read and why I've given it 2 stars.

I just couldn't really get into this book since it had so much going on. Doogs was doing the most. If Jay had stayed focused instead of letting not one but two drugs take over his mind then he would've been there to see his son born. He should've handled the information better than he did.
