I started reading this online and then switched to a hard copy, which made for much better going!

Enjoyed the less formal style with interspersed humour but I’m probably one of the readers they anticipate near the end who find their analysis too negative.

I think it would be naive to approach the subject of politics in organisations without a massive dose of cynicism but also suspect they a lot of political players in these organisations have less Machiavellian intent than the authors suggest.

Also didn’t quite get their take on Foucault. That might be more my fault than theirs though.
