I'm a writer at heart, I love to tell stories and though most of what comes out of my imagination can appear a little off the beaten path, that's because it is.
Though all of my stories contain romance to a point, there's a lot more angst, D/s, sometimes off the wall characters who know love and romance doesn't always happen overnight and it can be a struggle to find the right person for them. So, if angst, drama, a bit of D/s mixed in with romance isn't your thing, then I probably won't be either.
I am bringing something different to the table with my stories and I hope you enjoy them.

Lies of Omission is the story of Trenton Otero, a young man with an unbelievably painful past, who has finally found happiness. When he meets and falls in love with Braden Kelly, all of his dreams come true. The painful memories of his youth--being abused as a child--followed by two failed relationships, are now in the past. When he and Braden exchange vows, he trusts his new husband and loves him with all his heart--until he discovers a secret.
Braden has been cheating on Trenton. At first Trenton doesn't want to believe it. He denies it vehemently. Braden knows all he's been through. Braden knows how painful it was for Trenton when his last partner cheated, and he'd never do such a thing. But how can Trenton deny the reality of his husband's infidelity when presented with irrefutable photographic evidence?
Before Trenton can confront his Braden with the photos, tragedy strikes. Trenton finds himself in the hospital, recovering from a horrible accident. He cannot bring himself to a point where he can open up to Braden. He buries his feelings, harboring the bitterness inside him, all the while knowing that the man with whom he shares his life is nothing but a liar and a cheat.
Ultimately it all is revealed, but it may be too late. How can the couple heal after such disappointment? The trust has been shattered, and they may never recover. Or will they find a way to believe in each other once again, embracing a different lifestyle--one far less conventional?
Lies of Omission presents some familiar themes--trademarks of this author. Forced separation, abduction, and the Dom/sub dynamic are plot elements which have been present within some of Montgomery’s previous writings. She brings them all together in this short story, in a fresh, original way to create an exciting page-turner.
Most significantly, Lies of Omission poses some important questions relating to BDSM. How does genuine domination differ from abuse? How does one discover and develop one’s Dominant or submissive nature? Is it a matter of identity—an innate characteristic like eye color or sexual orientation—or is it the result of personal experience? How does the level of trust within such a relationship affect the dynamic of Master-slave?
The characterization is brilliant and multi-dimensional. Montgomery presents a perfect mix of action and reflection, fleshing out her characters by both showing and telling. She is particularly skilled at vividly portraying her more flamboyant characters such as the pesky, over-the-top sub named Alex. And as always, she makes it very easy to hate her villains.
I fell in love with Trenton, and my heart broke for him as the details of his past were ultimately revealed. My feelings toward his husband were no less powerful. Braden is a larger-than-life hero and savior, and the type of Master every sub yearns to meet.
Lies of Omission is one more reason I remain a loyal fan of Michele Montgomery. It’s a masterful piece of storytelling—and that’s no lie.

Lies of Omission is a short story, but is not what I would refer to as a light read. It is jam-packed with emotion and unexpected twists that had me gaping at my ereader in stunned shock during last portion of the novella.
Trenton Otero is a man with haunting past, a man slightly broken by the tragic events of his life. He has a husband, Braden, that loves him, that shows him in every way he can what Trenton means to him, and yet Trenton lacks the one fundamental thing all relationships need in order to survive: trust.
When Trenton's friend, Derrick, shows him a camera phone picture of what looks like Braden in the arms of another man, Trenton reacts as many of us would if we were in that situation; with jealousy, pain and rage. However, instead of confronting his lover about the photo, he allows his past experiences, one which was with a man who was not faithful to him, to guide his thoughts and feeling. Drawing him further and further away from the man he vowed to spend the rest of his life with.
Can Trenton learn to trust Braden before it's too late, or will he allow his past and his own uncertainties because of them, destroy their love? As Braden says to Trenton toward the end of the story, “The past can and does help to influence who a person becomes, and it’s up to you to decide how you’ll end up. You can’t change the past, but you can use it to help influence your future.” Trenton needs to trust Braden, he needs to communicate more with his husband, but sometimes knowing what you need to do and actually doing them are two very different things.
Michele Montgomery does an excellent job in this book of depicting how a person's past affects their future. Each of us has a history that has molded us into the people we are today and like the protagonist of this book, we also must decide if we will let the hurts of our past influence our future for the better, or not.

This story was amazing. I was hooked after the first page. I couldn't put it down for a minute! If I can connect with the characters, become one, I'm hooked. I was hooked first paragraph. I could feel Trent's pain when Derek dropped the news about his husband cheating. I could also feel his denial. I sat on the edge of my seat every page waiting to see what happened next. There were times I really wanted to smack Trent though and Derek I wanted to smack too- but he would like it, no I take that back he'd prefer to do the smacking. Anyways--the characters all were so well written the story held a lot of pain and past loss. I cried a lot--
So a little about the story, Derrick, Trent's best friend tells Trent his husband is cheating and supplies photo- Trent freaks and runs--straight out into traffic and gets hit. Trent does a lot of reliving his past with an abusive lover. Then there comes a twist when he finally leaves and goes to stay with Derrick and his lover Derrick is a Dom. Then just when you are like- wow I didn't see that coming--BANG- smacked with another twist! Yeah awesome!
So does Trent leave his husband? Does his husband try to get him back? Does Derrick finally get Trent after all these years? What are these two big twists? I am not telling you will have to read the book!! It's worth it

A short and very intense story about a couple who are manipulated by lies into re-evaluating themselves and their relationship.
