Read the book as the author went through it for a college course. It was telling that he was having to make corrections to it as we went thru. True, most weren't substantive - but still - it shows that the editors (and the author) were not bringing their full attention to it.

Learned a lot! Not just about model building but also about general ArcGIS for Desktop features.
