Dr. Charles W. Shedd was an American Presbyterian minister and a master communicator of homespun wisdom. Dr. Shedd served as a Presbyterian minister for over 50 years. He was the shepherd of small country churches and big city cathedrals. Along the way, he walked alongside janitors, farmers, physicians, senators, and presidential cabinet members. "Pastor Shedd" never met a stranger, or left anyone who did not feel richer for being in this presence.

He authored over 40 books, wrote nationally syndicated columns, and was a favorite guest of numerous television and radio personalities.

so, it's father's day this weekend. many of you may have forgotten, because you've gotten all involved in hockey or world cup or game of thrones finale preparations. but calm down, there's still time to get the man who already has everything the gift that keeps on giving: discomfort. deep, awkward, soul-squicking discomfort. in the form of this book. because ho-lee shit, if there was ever a buy-yourself-a-tape-recorder moment, that title is it.

HAPPY FATHER"S DAY, DADDY!!

i might just get you a tie instead.
you're welcome.

This book was really enjoyable. It delves into multiple aspects of relationships and how it impacts the children. I am not a father at this point, but I'm looking forward to it.
