Puns, jokes, and ridiculous riddles like this one:

If an athlete gets athlete's foot, what does an astronaut get? Missile toe!

Spacey Riddles, as suggested by the title, is a book full of space related riddles. Every riddle is relatively 'cheesey' and made for the audiance of early readers. The illustrations are fun, and portray each riddle - making it easy for early readers to compare text with illustrations. Spacey Riddles can be effectively used to excite struggling early readers to read, as the riddles are easy to read (especially with the illustrations helping the text), and are light-weight.

Is embarrassing to admit, I can't resist riddle and joke books! This one has some old favorites and some new ones.

Why did the two stars get married? They took a shine to each other! What poem can you find in outer space? A uni-verse. These riddles are a fun way to teach science (Astronomy) to students, as well as stylistic writing (play on words, inventing words, etc.).

One of my kids picked this up at the library, and I ended up reading it to them. It's just a bunch of REALLY corny space jokes. So, if that's you're thing, this is the book for you.
