During 2010, she was on hiatus because she was republishing her old manga, in which she was retaining the original plot and updating the artwork.
Alongside with publishing in Kadokawa Shoten, her work is also published in Emerald which is a collaborative shoujo/BL manga magazine with Nakamura Shungiku (author of the renowned Junjou Romantica and more recently, Hybrid Child) originated from the manga Sekaiichi Hatsukoi.
Miyuki Abe is one of my fav authors. she is really talented! the characters that she makes always have a strong impression on the reader even if they are just there for a supporting rule, I really admire that!
In this book, I understand that it cant be at the same level as her other book "Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni Kike!" but it was written well for a short manga and we got to really understand the main characters and the change they go through the story. still, it is a shame that it's short. it does have a great potential to be another masterpiece :)
This series ended rather abruptly to me. It felt as though the mangaka simply ran out of ideas in developing the relationship between Haruka and Kaoru since as obvious as it could get, they are completely loyal to one another. One thing I'm glad about is the little family interference the couple experience. Hardly realistic but hey! It's a manga after all.
The antagonist's name who I can't even remember now although I just finished reading the online scanlations just about 5 minutes ago was a self-indulgent pain in the ass.
