During the war (WWII) Margaret Lee Runbeck wrote THE GREAT ANSWER, a collection of true experiences which happened to men and women who relied on God in the face of crucial danger. The book traveled with thousands of fighting men, and some remarkable letters came back to the author. After the war ended, readers began asking for similar experiences in everyday life...in factories, classrooms, laboratories, kitchens, hospitals. Margaret Lee Runbeck wrote an article for CHRISTIAN HERALD in which she asked for authenticated evidence of divine help in definite, actual experience. Hundreds of persons told her their stories, urging her to make them into a book. For two years she investigated these stories, and then wrote them exactly as they happened for ANSWER WITHOUT CEASING. HOW this book got its Title After reading THE GREAT ANSWER, a young Marine wrote to Miss Runbeck, "The Bible says 'pray without ceasing.' When ou do that, you have answer without ceasing."
