Very helpful for putting you on the right track if you haven’t figured out solid personal finance or investment plans. I still felt like it could have been a little more “informative” than “encouraging.” Yes, I want to plan better and save money, you don’t need to convince me every chapter.

And I got sick of how many times the author called someone’s savings their “kitty.”

This really should be called "Adulting: Finances 101" although outdated, the general concept of personal finance remain the same. This book benefits both men and women alike that need a general understanding of how to be a financially responsible adult
