A cute, quick time travel romance with an erotic flare.
Siaylah is a time traveler that is sent throughout time in order to protect great historical figures so they can influence history however they are intended to. After finishing her mission in Egypt, she is deposited in an 1800s, Wild West Brothel. There she meets Nick, a gun-slinging gambler.
Though their first encounters are confusing for both, the chemistry and attraction are instantaneous between Siaylah and Nick. The romance between the pair is believable and romantic (not to mention pretty scorching).
The story moves pretty quickly, but the writing is excellent so you're not left confused at any moment. Overall, this is an excellent, quick read and I look forward to more works from Ms. Shields.
