Onevenwichtig boek. Interessant vanwege het ontluikende schrijversschap (wat bemoedigend is, een eerste boek hoeft niet zo verschrikkelijk goed te zijn dat je van je stoel valt om toch een mooie schrijver op te leveren.) Interessant vanwege mooie momenten waarop de taal van Wieringa zich al toont. Interessant vanwege iets van een proto- Joe Speedboat verhaal.
