Meg adores her geeky boyfriend Stanley, but jealousy and a series of Austen-esque misguided attempts to meddle in the lives of her friends have jeopardized their relationship. Maybe they really are not meant for each other? A sweet, sad sub-plot about fathers and daughters adds poignancy to this lighthearted novel.
