This is an interesting little book and it contains just a little snapshot of Iowa history. Very easy to read and the authors tried to find something to capture what Iowa is all about. Some of the stories tell about hardship and some tell about the best contributions of Iowans over the years. I could see it used by teachers to let elementary students make reports and presentations for a class. I would like to read a book made in this format about each of the fifty states.
