I tried searching for reviews but I found none :(
This book is the reason I appreciate reading. I was in 5th grade when my sister used to read it to me before bed. At that time, I was only interested in picture books and nothing else. But as she read the stories aloud in such a captivating way, my imagination began to soar at night. She made sure I followed each story and every character that was introduced. I haven’t read the book in many years now, but the one story I’ll never forget is The Rich Man and the Poor Man. Each tale carries such unique lessons, especially moral ones. I can’t leave a full review since it’s been so long since I last read it (and the book was sadly damaged by mold).
If you appreciate folktales I hope you do find a copy of this one and read it :( it's a beautiful folk tale ❤️
