For seven years, the Fondazione Maimeri has paired artists and musicians in a series of events that has become an annual Italian rite of spring in Milan. From the first collaboration in 1997, when composer Sarah Jane Morris met painter Emilio Tadini, to the most recent one, documented here in the angular, colorful canvases of Valerio Adami and lyrical pop of Mario Lavezzi, the series has tried to find the color of music.
