Although this is advertised as a beginner's guide, I still expected more. It probably took 45 minutes to read and spent a lot of time covering how to create an account and how to type in a prompt. The basics. Which are necessary, but I wanted more to the guide. I'd rather it cover that and be longer than it was.
If you have ever used ChatGPT, you might be able to learn some tips on how to make your prompts/questions better, but it's not worth the whole read. I just started using it a few months ago and haven't done a lot, and I didn't think it was worth reading for me personally.
If you've never used ChatGPT, though, this would be a great way to start. It depends on your purpose and where you're at. I still consider myself a beginner, but this was way below my level just because I've spent a little bit of time messing around with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT has been around longer than it has been known to me. However, it has numerous uses and is extremely convenient in many scenarios. I am familiar with ChatGPT, but I still found this book helpful as technology continues to evolve, and I write for a living. This is a short and interesting introduction to something which I didn’t think I needed in my life. That’s probably how many people felt in 1980 which is when I bought my first desktop, a P3000. Now I have two laptops, three iPads and two iPhones. ChatGBPT seems to be taking off and I will read this author’s next publications - they’re booklets really - with interest.

Good intro
This is a good introduction to chat GPT, which quite frankly scares me if it allows anyone to write a book and publish it. My hope is that authors will use it to augment their writing and not to substitute for creativity.
