Standard coffee table fare. Many typos, text very confusing in several places, little coverage of the basics. Most detail provided for the modern (post WW II) era including extensive coverage of the minutia of mothballing politics. Virtually no mention of the role battleships play in combined fleet actions, etc. Lots of pretty pictures. Interesting, not compelling.
