The football field has always been Andrew Godfrey's home. Now he's the starting quarterback and his fellow sophomore and best friend Kole is his favorite receiver. But the season gets off to a rough start with a tough loss and suddenly Andrew begins to question everything about his life. Football isn't as much fun anymore. His home life certainly isn't comfortable. Just as his life seemed to be coming together, life for Andrew is falling apart just as quickly. Andrew must find the strength and courage to be something other than the star quarterback but he must be open to a simple love; even if it means losing everything.

With three books to his name, he’s always on the lookout for the next story to tell; fiction or non-fiction. Now, he travels the globe presenting to student leadership groups, associations, and companies on the importance of strong teams, personal passions, and the future of marketing.

He has run for office twice and now serves the Alzheimer’s Association as the Iowa Chapter’s Board Chairperson. He holds a degree in public relations from the University of Northern Iowa and lives in Iowa with his husband Steve, daughter and pup.
