This is about a tale of an unrequited love in the context of historical events. The tale begins in the early 1860’s. Louis XV’s reign is approaching its final years, with it the patience of those who are against the perpetual despotic rule of the monarchy. Lorenza Feliciani is on her way to take the veil. In the midst of the ceremony, she is kidnapped by an invisible power in the presence of an audience gathered for the event. The kidnapper is a man of immense power, known by many names. He appears with magical strength, wealth and the knowledge of ancient historical secrets. These enable him to penetrate to the deepest layer of the royal court. He brings his influence upon most of the courtiers. His mental power does not recognize space and time. He is assigned by a secret society to manipulate the French aristocracy and destroy it. However, when he is confronted by love, a twist appears in his fate, realizing that he too was the victim of the very act of seduction that he had been trying to exercise on others.
