Applications in Human Resource Management: Cases, Exercises, and Skill Builders

Rate this book
Applications in Human Resource Management is a single source of cases, exercises, incidents, and skill builders to supplement introductory human resource management courses. These materials offer a fresh approach based on dynamic, real-life organizational events confronting both human resource managers and line managers. The cases are based on "real" events that have taken place in organizations and the exercises and skill builders are intended to give learners the hands-on skills they will need in facing the challenges of today's workplace.

This is simply a workbook for exercising knowledge of HR concepts and practices. I found it useful for uncovering weakness in my HR knowledge, and I was forced to learn some of the "hard" HR I don't have experience with--metrics, labor relations, and global HR.
