Knowing nothing about foos it was a decent read, though lots of techniques required watching YouTube vids to totally grasp. The word glossary was just filler with random jokes, which was kinda frustrating because some terms were left out. What's a squib shot?

The book is an introduction to the rules and techniques of foosball. It is easy to read and contains just minor flaws, like several not explained notions. It was written in 2002, which is time when the game's climax was already over in the United States (and those "The Million Dollar Tour" days) and before it got fancy and systematic in Europe (with the birth of the international table soccer federation, ITSF, in 2002 and their world championships series from 2004). Despite the significant evolution of the game, which could be considered as sports nowadays, the content of the book, and even most of the rules in the appendix section, have still remained relevant.
