The King's Highway: The Ten Commandments Explained to the Young

Rate this book
"The Prince of Preachers to the young." This was what C.H. Spurgeon called Richard Newton, author of this masterful treatment of the Ten Commandments explained and applied to the young. These sermons were first delivered and then written with children and young people in mind, but they are not in any way childish. They are filled with examples and illustrations intended to make these truths stick and stay. Richard Newton, D.D. (1813-1887) Though he was born in Liverpool, England in 1813, Newton was educated at the University of Pennsylvania and then served as an Episcopal rector in Philadelphia for many years.
