Resoconti scritti dai prigionieri di guerra che hanno tentato di evadere dalla prigione di Colditz. L’ho trovato molto interessante e illuminante su come l’uomo riesca a ingegnarsi per sopravvivere (alcuni racconti sono surreali) e su come, diversamente dagli ebrei, i prigionieri di guerra fossero trattati in maniera molto umana. In conclusione un bel spaccato della seconda guerra mondiale

While this is a historically important book because of the first-hand stories, I found it a bit of a drag after a while. Because the stories are short, certain details that might be interesting are hinted at but omitted. And it was hard for me to really get into the book because there's no single story that builds up.
Again, I recognize the value of these stories, but it didn't capture me.

COLDITZ CASTLE

Fantastic book thoroughly enjoyed bit too. But a bit short could have been longer other than that well written book
