I have been following Broke-Ass Stuart's blog for some time and he has been of immense help to this broke-ass. I wanted to read his book for more tips, of which it is full, and because I bought it at an event and he signed it for me. However, the reason I gave it five stars is that it is also a philosophy and process of removing money as the main focus of life. Yes, saving money can take a little more time and effort than being independently wealthy, but, for most of us, it is worth it. Also, BAS makes getting by in style a game. There is a certain amount of creativity involved. There is also a chapter on money management so that you won't always be a broke-ass, but that's no reason to stop living like one. His first suggestion for what to do with any extra money you may come into is nothing. The whole point is to live life to the fullest while living within your budget. Also, with the economy the way it is, every little bit helps and this book is a whole lot more than a little help. Yes, for those over 30, you probably know some of this information already, but there is more than one something for everyone in this book.
