A very good, quick, easy-read to learn about the basics of the Hmong culture and what brought the people their people to the United States.

I was excited to find this book because I think the Hmong story needs to be told more and more books for children are needed. I was disappointed that it had such an American perspective.

An informative rendition of the Hmong and there journey to America due to the Vietnam War. Touching. Proud that there is a book about my people but sad it's not sufficient to the experiences, tragedies, and life altering events that were hidden or lost. Let us learn history and not repeat the bad.
