When I picked this up, I thought it was purely text, but it's more of an interactive reference workbook with pedagogical aims. Though it's geared towards teachers, much of the content is applicable to life itself. It's a book that one could spend weeks slowly absorbing and completing the exercises or one in which a reader could skip around. Either way, it's a great tool for acknowledging and enhancing eight types of intelligence: mathematical/logical; intrapersonal; interpersonal; naturist; musical/rhythmic; visual/spatial; verbal/linguistic; and bodily/kinesthetic. It's a book I'd love to have in my personal collection.
